goes beyond gift designs and gift ideas.  Here you will find colorful themed photo shoots, unique projects, and out of the box ideas.  My goal for this website was to preserve the online history of my past creations (an on-line house for my creativity), continue to produce innovative ideas and to always expand on new opportunities.   I see things a little bit differently and I wrap my creative energy around it, especially if it is for a good cause.  If you are interested in collaborating with me or would like my assistance with guest blogging, product photography or social media graphics; let’s create!  I would love to hear from you! Originality, Inc. an award winning gift design firm.  Together Melinda and friend / co-owner Pam Grimes created hundreds of unique corporate gift designs for clients all over the US and abroad.  The creative concepts, custom graphics, quality products and packaging design were a unique creative approach to promotional merchandising.  This artistic vision serviced Fortune 500 companies, numerous national organizations, and businesses.  The types of items that Originality, Inc. produced included: custom awards, in-room hospitality packages, speaker gift and packaging designs.  Originality, Inc. clients included Marketing Directors, Human Resource Directors, and high level Corporate Executives.  The company was located in the Orlando and DC Metropolitan areas and was in existence from 2000 – 2010.

Persona Designs, Inc., creators of the Persona Gift Pail.  The pail was the brainchild of Melinda, and together with long time friend and business partner Pam Grimes, the two brought the concept to life in 2009.  The Pails were intended as a “Feel Good Thing” and to put smiles on people’s faces.  The Persona Gift Pails were designed as a DIY kit with mix and match removable sticker facial components with a colorful hair pillow top.  The pails were the size of a human head, so they could be decorated by using hats and accessories from home.  In 2011, the pails were a finalist for the “Best New Product Award” in New York at the National Stationery Show.  Featured on Person’s Blog were themed photo shoots, printables, craft projects and unique gift ideas that were in conjunction with several of the Pail’s characters.   Along the way, they found that the pails were very useful to patients with Alzheimer’s and as a form of expression for children with Autism.
