During my recent trip to Texas, I thought why not bring a small puzzle with me to put together during some downtime. Little did I know that the AIR B N B we stayed at in Austin would make the perfect backdrop for a photo of my “Puzzles On the Go” (blog series) to represent the state of Texas, featuring the Longhorn skull in the background.
Seen here is my “Colorful Pink Contemporary Floral Bouquet” jigsaw puzzle. This puzzle is 8” x 10” and it consists of 110 pieces - the perfect travel size. Here’s a travel tip, put the puzzle together on a small flexible poly plastic cutting board. It's so easy to slip into your luggage or travel bag, and it allows you to put these small puzzles together anywhere, even on a bed.
While visiting Austin, we traveled through the Hill Country heading towards Luckenbach, Texas and en route we found the most beautiful wildflowers along the side of the road.
Here’s a picture of my daughter collecting some of those gorgeous Hill Country wildflowers.
As for Luckenbach, we will definitely make another visit back. For those of you Texans and country music fans, the song "Lukenbach, Texas " (Back to the Basics of Love) written by Waylon Jennings and sung by the American Outlaws (the Highwaymen, Waylon Jennings, and Willie Nelson) is typically a playlist MUST for your car ride on the way there.
Little did I know when setting out on this Texas trip that my "Colorful Pink Floral Bouquet" puzzle would embody the perfect memory for such a fun and wonderful time.
For more info and to see my other 8” x 10” puzzles, be sure to visit my Puzzle Boutique on Zazzle. I offer several styles and many sizes with piece counts ranging from 30 to 1014.
Hope you all have a wonderful Summer, make incredible memories and be sure to stop and smell the flowers!

My newest art piece has an Art Nouveau feel with an Alice In Wonderland vibe that was inspired by my daughter, Jaclyn Tomasello’s birthday and her latest music video “Who Am I?”.
